Hello all,

My name is Tristin A. Taylor. I am a 26-year-old sportswriter and publicist from Los Angeles. When I'm not keeping up with the latest NBA stats and highlights on ESPN, you can catch me studying and observing the play by plays from other sports associations such as the NFL, MLB, NHL, and MLS! 

 

I am a graduate of California State University, Dominguez Hills, having received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communications. With my journalism passion beginning at 13 years old,  I knew that there was no career I wanted to be involved in other than one that required me to gather information and deliver it in a tenacious yet endearing way.

 

I am strongly passionate about sports journalism, and even more passionate about writing it. However, my talents don't limit me to just sports. I also am versatile in many other journalistic topics such as food, art, the underrepresented African American cultural events at CSUDH, and feature pieces. 

 

I wrote for my school newspaper, the Bulletin and I also began my own podcast at the KDHR Radio Station, Eyes on the Fries, which informed my listeners about the best food spots in the Greater Los Angeles region to try as well as how to snag free food deals in the process. I also was an intern for Fiesta Publications where I did editorial pieces for the Latino Bride & Groom Magazine.
